Downpayment Plus® Program for 2012
Program Overview
Welcome to the Downpayment Plus® program, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago's (FHLBC) Affordable Housing Program (AHP) set-aside. The Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development (WPHD), as program administrator in Wisconsin, has created this web application to ensure an efficient and accurate application process. There have been several changes to the program for 2012. Please familiarize yourself with the new aspects of the program before submitting a grant reservation.
This web application allows FHLBC Members to apply for Downpayment Plus and Downpayment Plus Advantage program funds.
Downpayment Plus Program Overview
This program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to low and moderate-income households that receive mortgage financing through a FHLBC Member. The assistance is in the form of a forgivable loan that is forgiven over a five year period. The maximum amount of the loan is $8,000.
Downpayment Plus Advantage Program Overview
This program also provides down payment and closing cost assistance to low and moderate-income household. With DPP Advantage the mortgage financing must be provided by a nonprofit organization, such as Habitat for Humanity. The assistance is in the form of a forgivable loan that is forgiven over a five year period. The maximum amount of the loan is $8,000
